How to get to the Sussex Coast

Coastal Sussex is very accessible from anywhere in England and abroad and only requires travelling through the lush rolling countryside of Sussex to get to the stunning shoreline, which is a pretty good start to your cottage holiday in itself!!

Road:

Coastal Sussex has a number of road links with the M25 including the A23 and the A21. The A259/A27 runs across the length of the coast from Rye and Hastings to Chichester.

Sea:

West Sussex can also be approached from the port links at Portsmouth and Southampton. Newhaven has ferries from Dieppe and Le Havre.

Air:

International airports are available at Gatwick, Heathrow & Southampton.

Rail:

There is an excellent train service from London to Brighton and other Sussex coastal locations.
