HELP

The following steps will guide you through the process of booking a cottage. Please note that if you need help at any time you can call our local reservations team on 01580 720 770 who would be happy to guide you through the process or take your reservation by telephone.

  1. Click on the 'Book Now' button. This is an orange button located down the left hand side of the page.
  2. Use the drop-down menus to select how many nights you would like to go for, the month, what day you would like your holiday to start, the number of adults, children, infants and pets.
  3. When you have selected when you would like to go an availability listing will appear below the menu along with the price for the specified period. Where a line appears in green this means the property is available, or a grey line signifies that the property is already booked.
  4. Once you have found when you would like to go and would like to proceed to book the property, click on the orange 'Book This' button to the right. This will begin the booking process.
  5. There are 4 steps to the booking process. The first requires you to enter your details into the form provided. Please click on the orange 'Next Step' button at the bottom-right once you have fully completed the requested information.
  6. The next step requires you to enter the names and approximate ages of all the people staying at the property. Once complete, please proceed by using the orange 'Next Step' button.
  7. The third step summarises the total price including your booking fee and allows you to mention any specific requests you may have in the box provided. You will also need to specify how you would like to pay for your cottage, by either paying now by using a credit or debit card, or later by phone, bank transfer or cheque. You must also tick the box which confirms you have agreed to our terms and conditions before clicking on the orange 'Pay Now' button to proceed to the final step.
  8. If you have chosen to pay by credit or debit card please complete the information in the boxes provided then click on the orange 'Complete' button.
  9. A booking confirmation page will appear and you will be sent an email with a breakdown of costs and details of your arrival/departure dates. Please note, if you have chosen to pay later then this booking is provisional and you must contact us within five days to arrange payment.

Set in three acres of immaculate grounds is Munday Manor - the epitome of an English country home. It exudes history, dating from the 16th Century, is exquisitely furnished with many antiques and oil paintings and has a very warm and welcoming feel. The spectacular inglenook fireplace, with electric wood burner is a relaxing centre piece in the elegant sitting room and the fabulous bedrooms are a luxurious delight. Enjoy memorable meals in the stunning dining room with its spectacular candlelit inglenook fireplace and also alfresco under the pergola by the summer house. This wonderful house is a very special holiday home in an idyllic country setting and if you can tear yourself away Ashford International Station is only a five minute drive, the Channel tunnel fifteen minutes and Canterbury twenty five. May be booked in conjunction with Munday Garden Cottage to sleep eleven. Shop: 1.5 miles Pub: 1.5 miles  Coast: 7 miles

Ground Floor:
Reception Hall with oak floorboards, antique oak settle, woodburning stove in exposed brick fireplace, antique Italian barometer and an oil painting depicting a traditional country scene. At one end is a useful laundry room with washing machine, sink, w.c and at the other a library area with a computer for broadband access
Sitting Room has a huge inglenook fireplace with large copper hood , housing a 7kw log burner. There are very comfortable sofas and armchairs, occasional tables and antique furniture. Dining Room is magnificent with another original fireplace,although not in use, the hearth is filled with candles to create a lovely warm glow, table and chairs to seat ten, sideboards, serving tables and hostess trolley

First Floor:
Bedroom 1 is absolutely gorgeous - with a super king-size bed, bedside tables, dressing table, large oak wardrobe, comfy sofa, chest of drawers, more oil paintings and views through the leaded light windows across the grounds. It also has a beautifully fitted En-Suite Shower Room with thermo electric  shower, washbasin, vanity unit and w.c.
Bedroom 2 has a king-size bed, bedside tables, wardrobe, chest of drawers and luxurious bedlinen 
Bedroom 3 is very sweet and has twin beds, bedside table, chest of drawers, chair and splendid views 
Bathroom 1 is breathtaking with its striking black and white decor, has a large bath with hand held shower attachment, washbasin inset in marble and w.c.

Second Floor:
Bedroom 4 is a heavily beamed delightful twin room, with bedside table and an antique pine dressing table and chair
Bathroom 2 has a Victorian design, bath with hand-held shower attachment, vanity table and chair, washbasin and w.c.

Garden: Within the three acre grounds is a moated island, an orchard, a summer house (with electricity supply), table, chairs and barbecue plus garden games including a Croquet set.
Parking: Directly beside the house there is parking for several cars.
Heating: Oil central heating.

Notes: It is regretted but unfortunately no children under 10 are accepted. May be booked in conjuction with AS249 Munday Garden Cottage to sleep eleven. Sorry - no mini-breaks available at this property.
