HELP

The following steps will guide you through the process of booking a cottage. Please note that if you need help at any time you can call our local reservations team on 01580 720 770 who would be happy to guide you through the process or take your reservation by telephone.

  1. Click on the 'Book Now' button. This is an orange button located down the left hand side of the page.
  2. Use the drop-down menus to select how many nights you would like to go for, the month, what day you would like your holiday to start, the number of adults, children, infants and pets.
  3. When you have selected when you would like to go an availability listing will appear below the menu along with the price for the specified period. Where a line appears in green this means the property is available, or a grey line signifies that the property is already booked.
  4. Once you have found when you would like to go and would like to proceed to book the property, click on the orange 'Book This' button to the right. This will begin the booking process.
  5. There are 4 steps to the booking process. The first requires you to enter your details into the form provided. Please click on the orange 'Next Step' button at the bottom-right once you have fully completed the requested information.
  6. The next step requires you to enter the names and approximate ages of all the people staying at the property. Once complete, please proceed by using the orange 'Next Step' button.
  7. The third step summarises the total price including your booking fee and allows you to mention any specific requests you may have in the box provided. You will also need to specify how you would like to pay for your cottage, by either paying now by using a credit or debit card, or later by phone, bank transfer or cheque. You must also tick the box which confirms you have agreed to our terms and conditions before clicking on the orange 'Pay Now' button to proceed to the final step.
  8. If you have chosen to pay by credit or debit card please complete the information in the boxes provided then click on the orange 'Complete' button.
  9. A booking confirmation page will appear and you will be sent an email with a breakdown of costs and details of your arrival/departure dates. Please note, if you have chosen to pay later then this booking is provisional and you must contact us within five days to arrange payment.

The Dering Apartment is on the second floor of the highly acclaimed Dering Arms Pub in walking distance to Pluckley railway station, just one stop to Ashford International with fast trains to London St Pancras via the Olympic Village at Stratford as well as Canterbury, the coast, Paris and beyond.  The apartment has been thoughtfully furnished and equipped to an extremely high standard creating luxurious accommodation for up to five.  The Dering Arms occupies a Victorian Hunting Lodge which retains plenty of character and atmosphere.  There are no electronic machines or piped music just friendly bars and a superb restaurant serving delicious meals and specialising in fish. Pluckley is in the heart of the garden of England, the setting for H E Bates's "Darling Buds of May" and is renowned for its distinctive arched windows. Sitting Room is a lovely, large bright room with Seating Area and fireplace and two sofas, one a sofabed, TV with DVD, bookcase with books and films the Dining Area has a handsome, decorative dresser and antique table and chairs and there is an attractive Victorian daybed tucked in the corner
Bedroom has King Size bed with wooden head board, bedside tables, built in cupboard, dressing table and chair, a decorative fireplace and TV
Accessed from the kitchen is a useful dressing area with hanging space, storage and decorative fireplace, leads to door to
Bathroom fully tiled with bath with shower attachment, separate shower, washbasin and w.c


Garden: Access to private garden with seating and washing line.
Parking: On the road adjacent to the pub or in the car park.
Heating: Central heating.
Also Provided: A basket in which to store frozen produce in the freezer in the ground floor utility room as well as use of washing machine and tumble dryer.
Notes: Not really suitable for children under 10  - though babies are fine.There are three B&B rooms available should additional accommodation be required.
