The Saddle Room sits in the grounds of a former Manor House - just a few hundred yards walk from the pubs, restaurants, good range of shops (including a supermarket) and popular Kino cinema in the Wealden village of Hawkhurst. Hooks that used to house the saddle racks can still be seen hanging from the high timber-clad ceiling and the original open fire where the grooms used to warm their hands now enhances the gas central heating and underfloor heating. All the comforts of home are provided here for you - and the central weald location makes access to the many National Trust properties in the area, the coast and trips to London a relaxing and easy option. For golfers - the local golf course is only 150 yards away.

Ground Floor:
The open plan layout provides a compact but very comprehensively equipped kitchen area with electric oven and gas hob, microwave, washer dryer, free-standing fridge/freezer, coffee maker and cleverly designed cupboards and drawers to make maximum use of storage space. There is an extending dining table with 2 chairs (a further 2 stored in the cupboard). In the sitting room area a very comfortable sofa (may be used as a sofabed) sits in front of the working fire with an additional armchair, coffee table and an attractive rug adding a splash of colour to the oak laminate flooring. There is large flat screen TV/DVD with Freeview. The 5' pull down bed with fully sprung orthopaedic mattress is easily hidden away when not required. On one side of the fireplace is a built-in wardrobe and on the other a built-in cupboard housing the hoover etc plus useful shelving
Bathroom has underfloor heating, a shower over the bath, heated towel rail, washbasin and w.c.
