Cranbrook is well worth a visit, there is an old windmill, museum, and the town is pretty with old buildings tastefully modernised and several good eating places.

Goudhurst in Kent is a very quaint village and is a great base for visits to historic places and country walks and offers great dining - we recommend The Globe & Rainbow, The Star and Eagle and The Green Cross.

The property is ideally placed, The Weald of Sussex and Kent and 1066 country have great countryside and lots of interesting places to visit. The cottage is well appointed and in a peaceful location near the pretty village of Goudhurst.
