Primrose Cottage is a charming early 17th Century terraced house set in the heart of medieval Sandwich. Once a shop and more recently a tea-room, it is full of character. Sandwich has many quaint narrow streets and corners to explore - with names like Holy Ghost Alley and the Old Town Gaol. Within a very short walk are interesting shops, pubs, cafes, restaurants and the museum and library (with free wi-fi access). See the boats at the Quay, walk the old town walls, visit Salutation Gardens, take the river bus to watch the seals or stroll across the dunes to beautiful Sandwich Bay.
