Shepherd's Cottage is a cosy detached single storey character cottage, formerly the village post office and lies in front of the owners' home. An original red telephone kiosk and post box are sited by the cottage - a lasting reminder of its previous role.  Located in the peaceful village of Kingston yet less than 8 miles from Canterbury and only 15 miles from the North Kent Coast towns of Herne Bay and Whitstable, Shepherd's Cottage is an ideal base for those wishing to explore Kent.  Walkers and cyclists also enjoy staying at the cottage as the North Downs Way passes within a mile of the village and it is on the route of the Elham Valley Way providing long and short walks through ancient woodland, secret byways and unspoilt villages.  Shop: 1 mile  Pub: 0.2 miles Coast: 13.9 miles
