An ideal retreat - a perfect country break

Had a fantastic New Year - very comfy. The view of all the fireworks at midnight while the Brede church bells tolled is something I'll never forget. What a well thought out conversion - thank you!

We enjoyed our weeks stay here at Brede. The property was lovely and spacious and the view excellent. There were many places of interest to visit, not to mention the lovely welcome.

We had a wonderful week. The house is exceptionally comfortable and very well equipped and the view in the morning are a joy to wake up to. Friendly welcome and lovely cake and eggs. Definitely recommend Battle for a tramp around the battlefield, very atmospheric and the Red Lion pub opposite the Church is very good for food.

We all had a thoroughly wonderful holiday! Thank you for such a warm welcome, the fresh eggs and cake were delicious. The scenery was fabulous and the accommodation well equipped and tastefully decorated. The children were in their element with the tractors, sheep, hens and all things farm related. We would love to return again, but for a 2 week visit at least.

You have put so much thought into the conversion of The Old Granary. It was a pleasure to stay. We enjoyed the farm atmosphere and good country air. The chickens were a great attraction and thank you for the eggs. A fantastic place for the children and a wonderful setting. Fantastic accommodation - you have thought of everything. We will be back I hope!

A wonderful discovery with a warm welcome (including Lemon Drizzle cake). Warm weather and lovely house. We were very much at home here. Our daughter loved the chickens and the chance to run freely across the field. Thank you for a terrific cottage holiday that we all enjoyed.
