The Dairy Cottage is a single storey cottage converted to a very high standard from a former cow byre and is accessible for wheelchair users, has lovely rural views and many exposed beams and vaulted ceilings.  It is located on the owners' farm within walking distance of the pub at Bodle Street Green and close to Windmill Hill which is between Battle and Hailsham.  This property is the perfect base for visiting the many attractions in the area including Herstmonceux Science Centre, Batemans, Pashley Manor Gardens, Drusillas Zoo Park, the 1066 Walk, Cuckmere Valley Trail and the seaside is only 7 miles away at Pevensey Bay.  Dairy Cottage shares the entrance and parking with The Oast  has a separate private garden - yet close enough for a combined booking for a family holiday of up to 11 people.   Shop: 2 miles  Pub: 0.25 miles Coast: 9 miles
