Total relaxation could not ask for any more. A warm welcome. A warm and cosy place to stay weather not all that, but it didn't matter. Looking forward to coming back in February 2011, might bring fishing rod next time. A big thank you John for making us feel so welcome. See you soon.

We really enjoyed our week at The Milking Parlour and have found it very warm and cosy even though it had been cold at nights. We have had some lovely weather and have enjoyed some lovely walks. Thanks for the guided tour of the farm and pond and also the eggs/cake/milk etc.

This is a beautifully presented cottage - a lot of thought has gone into its decoration and furnishings. We have had a lovely week and have packed in a great deal. Heathfield is perfectly placed for visit so many places. We visited these National Trust Properties; Sissinghurst, Bodiam Castle, Small Hythe Place and Standen. Worth joining the NT if you are not a member.

A lovely cottage, comfortable, warm and homely. Pauline enjoyed the relaxation - Roger and John enjoyed the fishing in the pond (small common carp & mirror carp a plenty on maggots, with mirror carp to 6lb on double sweetcorn.) A big thank you to John Seymour for making us feel so welcome, and for going the extra mile, treating us like family! We will be back with the Grandchildren next Summer.

Location is excellent for visiting anywhere in Sussex. We visited NT properties, Bodiam Castle, Sissinghurst, Standen and Smallhythe Place. Eastbourne, Tenterden and Rye are excellent for antique hunting too.
