We've been as "snug as a bug in a rug"! Delighted with the situation and high quality of furnishings.

A very cosy stay - we've been wonderfully content. Enjoyed majestic country walks. Well-furnished, well-placed and very comfortable. Exactly the retreat we were hoping for.

A lovely comfortable base for touring the South Downs and lots of English Heritage and National Trust properties. We have had a great week, thank you!

Friendly welcome, lovely accommmodation. We visited Royal Tunbridge Wells, Sevenoaks for excellent shopping and did a Kent tour. Beautiful autumn colours in Goudhurst, Cranbrook, Ticehurst and Tenterden (great steam railway too). We will return! Thank you.

We came to visit the many National Trust houses and gardens around here and found this a perfect place to stay. It is light, quiet and comfortable. A visit to Glyndebourne was wonderful.
