Northiam is a stop on the Kent and East Sussex Railway which links the attractive town of Tenterden with Bodiam. An interesting place for a self-catering holiday. In Northiam is Great Dixter, a wonderful old Hall House rescued from Benenden and extended by Lutyens. The wonderful gardens surrounding the house are filled with colourful borders, topiary and exotic paintings.
