Pound Hill Cottage is a most attractive barn conversion in the grounds of Pound Hill Farm - a traditional Kent farmhouse.  A gloriously peaceful spot surrounded by unspoilt countryside, there are many lovely walks in the vicinity.  The small village of Frittenden has a popular pub and small shop and is ideally located for exploring the many attractions in the High Weald of Kent - Sissinghurst Castle Gardens is a pleasant 2 mile walk.  The barn has been converted to a very high standard providing exceptional comfort for two guests. Shop: 0.5 mile  Pub: 0.5 mile

Ground Floor:

Open plan Living Room - the full height of the barn creates a wonderfully spacious living area with solid wood floors and double doors to a paved terrace and garden.  Orginal beams have been retained and in one corner is a very effective woodburner.  The seating area has a double sofa, armchair, coffee table and flat screen TV with Freeview and integral DVD player. A stylish table and chairs provides a dining area.  
Kitchen Area  with a wide work surface providing a counter top with stools and fitted wooden units that incorporate a fridge, freezer, washing machine, dishwasher and an electric oven and hob with stainless steel hood.

A fixed wooden ladder leads to a galleried landing with carpeted storage area that could possibly be used for occasional overnight accommodation for 1.

Bedroom has a linked King size bed that can be made up as twins with individual reading lights wall mounted above and  a bedside table, chest of drawers and cupboard with hanging space.
