Albert Cottage, a delightful grade 2 listed, ancient tarred and weatherboard cottage dating from 1750, is located in the heart of the unpretentious and unspoilt seaside town of Broadstairs. The town was a holiday home for Charles Dickens, housing the Museum and annual Dickens Festival, plus a wealth of restaurants, quaint flint cottages tucked away in picturesque squares and narrow streets, beautiful bays, and steeped in maritime history. As well as the main sweeping wide beach with its golden sand, there are six other bays and splendid cliff tops to explore and enjoy. Located very centrally in the town and only a few minutes walk from the beach, but surprisingly quiet, Albert Cottage is a holiday home of character, yet with modern kitchen and bathroom facilities.
