Chequers Cottage is a cosy and welcoming little cottage with a lovely working fire (for those winter evenings!) and a secluded back garden. It is located on the main street in the pretty village of Ticehurst with good local shops, restaurants and pubs and is ideally placed to explore the South Downs, the many gardens and National Trust properties - and also the famous spa town of Tunbridge Wells within easy reach. There are some low beams and doors in the cottage so beware! Shop: 50 yards Pub: 25 yards
