The Bothy is a delightful converted single storey, compact barn, with wonderful views over rolling countryside. There is private parking with security lighting beside the property, which is in well tended grounds of a lovely 16th Century weather boarded house. There are many local vineyards, historic houses, beautiful gardens, as well as picturesque Tenterden, Cranbrook and Hawkhurst all within a short drive. Historic Rye is a comfortable 20 minutes away. The Tenterden steam train can be seen at times chugging along the valley, the local pub is within a few minutes walk, and cruises along the River Rother all provide a superb location for this lovely holiday accommodation. Shop: 2 miles Pub: 200 yards
