To celebrate the publication of our newly designed brochure for 2008, Freedom Holiday Homes invited all homeowners to a super Sunday lunch at our nearest major attraction, Sissinghurst Castle Gardens. Space was limited to 80 places and the enthusiastic response meant the available places were quickly filled and we had to turn away many disappointed owners. Richard and James Ellis hosted the occasion, which provided a splendid opportunity for homeowners to meet each other as well as the hardworking staff from Freedom Holiday Homes!

Everyone who attended remarked on how brilliant it was to be able to put faces to the names Lynne, Kate, Chris and Harriet. Unfortunately, Amanda was unable to be there. After the delicious lunch served with local wine in The Granary Restaurant, everyone was invited to enjoy the gorgeous gardens designed and planted by Vita Sackville-West and her husband Sir Harold Nicolson. Sadly it was not so much a day of mists and mellow fruitfulness, more a soggy Sunday better suited to ducks. In spite of the inclement weather it was unanimously agreed that it had been a very successful and enjoyable event and we much look forward to repeating the exercise. Next time we will choose a larger venue to accommodate more homeowners and we certainly hope to get as good a turn out.
